Want to join in on the fun? There are many avenues you can go down when getting involved in South Jersey Region SCCA events. You can volunteer, become a racecar driver, autocross, rally, compete in track days and track sprints.
Volunteering offers a phenomenal opportunity to make the races happen. There are many different roles that offer exciting ways to get up close and personal with road racing events. You could come out and work a corner station as a marshal, a crucial role for any racing event. Participating as a marshal or a “flagger” gives you the best seat in the house for every racing session of a race weekend. You get a trackside view of the race and play an important role in communicating to the drivers on track. You could work with “The Men in Black” in technical inspection, getting physical hands-on experience with each racecar that enters “Tech”. You could work Grid, making sure each car is set in the correct spot before each race is run. There are many more opportunities to get involved as a volunteer. Feel free to reach out to our Board Members with any questions.
